QC enforcing liquor ban on Monday for Sona 2024
MANILA, Philippines — A liquor ban will be imposed in Quezon City on Monday, July 22 to ensure peace and order during President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos’ third State of the Nation Address (Sona).
“Ipapatupad ang Liquor Ban sa Quezon City sa July 22, 2024 simula 12:01 AM hanggang 6:00PM,” the city government said in a social media post.
(A liquor ban will be enforced in Quezon City on July 22, 2024, from 12:01 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
“Ito ay upang masiguro ang kapayapaan at seguridad sa lungsod sa darating na State of the Nation Address (Sona) ni President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,” it added.

Marcos is set to deliver his third Sona on Monday, July 22, at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City.
