Cavite drug pushers busted, yield shabu worth P204,000

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested three suspected drug pushers and seized P204,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation on Monday, July 15, in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
Anti-narcotics agents nabbed “Ismael,” “Basir,” and “Melver” around 9:50 p.m. after they sold P500 worth of shabu to an operative acting as drug user in Datu Esmael, the Calabarzon Police Regional Office (PRO 4A) said in a report on Tuesday, July 16.
The law enforcers confiscated from the suspects nine plastic sachets containing crystal meth weighing 30 grams.
Police tagged Ismael and Basir as included in the police drug watch list as high-value individuals in the local drug trade while Melver was identified as a street-level pusher.
Authorities are investigating the source of the drugs.
The suspects are facing formal complaints for violating the country’s anti-drug laws.
