MANILA, Philippines — Vice President and outgoing Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sara Duterte expressed her optimism on Wednesday that the National Learning Camp (NLC) will contribute to the skills needed by Filipino students.

According to Duterte, a whole-of-community approach is needed to sustain the NLC, which includes parents, local government officials, and members of the education sector, among others, which she also thanked for their contributions to the program.
