MMDA Advisory: Weekend road repairs set in parts of QC, Parañaque
MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in Parañaque City and Quezon City will be closed from Friday evening until early Monday morning for reblocking and repair works, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Friday.
In an advisory, the MMDA said that road works will be carried out by the Department of Public Works and Highways in the following areas starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, July 5, up to 5 a.m. on Monday, July 8:
Parañaque City
- Quirino Avenue (inner lane)
Quezon City
- Edsa southbound, Lanutan to Bansalangin (4th lane from center)
- Sgt. Rivera, Sto. Domingo to Damar Loop (2nd lane from center)
- A. Bonifacio Avenue, Balingasa to Edsa (2nd lane from center)
- Quirino Highway, Solville Drive to Mindanao Avenue (2nd lane from sidewalk)
- Tandang Sora, New Era High School to San Ponciano (2nd lane from sidewalk)
- Sto. Domingo Avenue, Simon to Atok (1st lane from sidewalk)
- Congressional Avenue Extension, infront of Rapjap Sushi House (truck lane)
- North Avenue northbound before Sen. Miriam P. Defensor-Santiago Avenue (1st lane from sidewalk)
- Congressional Avenue Extension bridge to KM15 (truck lane)
- Mindanao Avenue Southbound in front of JBD Plaza to Road 8 (3rd lane from sidewalk)
- Congressional Avenue, April Extension before Culiat Bridge (1st lane from center)
“The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, July 08,” the MMDA said.
It also advised motorists to take alternate routes during work hours.
