LUCENA CITY — A 30-year-old female motorcycle rider died Tuesday after a truck ran over her in Silang town in Cavite province.
The Region 4A police reporte on Wednesday, July 3, that Olivia May Natanaun, nurse and resident of Las Piñas City, was hit at 12:34 p.m. by a truck driven by Arjhun Baroy, 23, along the Aguinaldo Highway in Barangay Tubuan 1.

She was thrown off her vehicle, landed on the pavement, and consequently ran over by the truck’s left front wheel.
She died while being taken to a hospital.
Investigators said the truck changed lanes and hit the rear portion of the motorcycle running ahead, which led to the accident.
The truck driver was arrested and is facing criminal charges.
