Bulacan freeport bill lapses into law

The Bulacan Special Economic Zone and Freeport Act, or Republic Act No. 11999, lapsed into law on June 13, which covers the New Manila International Airport and airport city projects envisioned by San Miguel Corp. in Bulakan, Bulacan.

The law will also cover the parts of the cities of Malolos and Meycauayan and the towns of Bulakan, Paombong, Guiguinto, Balagtas, Bocaue, Marilao, Obando, and Sta. Maria in Bulacan that are not part of the airport and airport city projects.
