New Naia fees not final yet
The proposed increases of fees at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia), which is set to be privatized in September, will be evaluated and decided on at the Cabinet-level, according to Manila International Airport Authority spokesperson Chris Bendijo.
Airline and air operators groups have expressed concerns about the rate increases, saying these additional costs would likely end up being passed on to passengers, making Naia one of Asia’s most expensive airports.

Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista’s pronouncement that there will be no fee adjustments after privatization without “noticeable” improvements at Naia.
