Cavite anti-drug operations yield P340,000 shabu

LUCENA CITY — Cavite police arrested a suspected “high-value” drug trafficker on Friday, June 28, and seized P340,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Dasmariñas City

Colonel Eleuterio Ricardo Jr., Cavite police chief, said in a report that members of the provincial police drug enforcement unit and city cops collared “Jalil,” 34, after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay H2 on Friday morning.

The operatives confiscated from Jalil 50 grams of meth worth P340,00 in the valuation of the Dangerous Drugs Board.

Police said Jalil is a high-value individual in the local drug trade.

He was detained and will face a formal complaint of violating the country’s anti-drug laws.
