DPWH roadwork to shut portion of Hidalgo Street in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — A portion of Hidalgo Street in Manila will be temporarily closed to traffic starting Friday, June 28, to allow road improvement works by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In an advisory, the DPWH said Hidalgo Street’s northbound lane will be repaired, so a road lane will be closed. Hidalgo Street is located between Bilibid Viejo Street and Estero de Quiapo.

“The rehabilitation works will cover a length of 377.60 linear meters and width of 9.50, requiring partial road closure of one lane,” it noted.
