1 killed, 1 injured in road rage stabbing in Batangas
LUCENA CITY — A motorist was stabbed dead, and his companion was injured in a road rage incident on Wednesday night, June 26, in San Juan town in Batangas province, police said.
The Batangas provincial police office said in a report on Thursday, June 27, that “Mike” and “Adrian” were aboard a tricycle in Barangay Poctol at 9:10 p.m. when they engaged a motorcycle rider in a heated argument due to blinding headlights.
The altercation prompted motorcyclist “Roldan” to pull out a bladed weapon and stabbed Mike on his stomach.
Adrian came to help his companion, but Roldan also stabbed him.
Roldan and his two companions, one of them identified as “Victor,” all residents of Poctot, fled after the incident.

Police launched a hunt operation to arrest the killer and his companions.
