LUCENA CITY — Five suspected drug traffickers were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 18 and 19, in buy-bust operations in Cavite province and yielded shabu (crystal meth) worth more than P699,000 and an illegal firearm, police said.
The Police Region 4A reported that anti-narcotics personnel arrested two pushers, “Felipe” and “Melanie,” at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday after they sold P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police in Barangay Sta. Cristina 1 in in Dasmariñas City.
Seized from the suspects were 50 grams of shabu worth about P340,00 in Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) valuation.
The operatives also busted “Tiririt” and “Bernardo” in Barangay San Francisco 1 at 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
The suspects had four sachets of meth weighing 27.80 grams with a DDB value of P189,040.

In General Mariano Alvarez town, the police held “Donn” in a drug sting around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in Poblacion 1. He had six sachets of shabu worth P170,000, an undocumented .9mm pistol, two magazines, and seven bullets.
The cops also seized two mobile phones from the suspects, which will be examined for drug transactions.
All arrested persons are under police custody and will face formal complaints of violating the anti-drugs law.
Donn will also face illegal possession of a firearm case.
