Pagasa: Cloudy Tuesday with rain showers in most parts of PH
MANILA, Philippines — Overcast skies and rain are expected in parts of Luzon, while the rest of the country is forecast to have warm weather and isolated rain showers on Tuesday due to the southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Inaasahan po natin ngayong araw o ngayong umaga na magiging maulan ang panahon partikular sa kanlurang bahagi ng Southern Luzon pati na rin sa western section ng Central Luzon area,” said Pagasa weather specialist Rhea Torres in an early morning update.
(Rains are expected today, particularly in the western part of Southern Luzon and the western section of Central Luzon.)
Rain is expected particularly in Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan, Torres added.
“Samantala sa nalalabing bahagi ng ating bansa ay patuloy pa rin po ang isolated thunderstorms o mataas na tiyansa ng pag-ulan, pero po pagdating ng tanghali ay asahan pa din na magiging mainit ang panahon,” Torres said.

The state weather bureau likewise reported that there is no low-pressure area in and around the Philippine area of responsibility, but the “habagat” will continue to prevail for the rest of the week.
No gale warning is in effect over any of the country’s seaboards, it added.
