Girl drowns in Taal Lake

LUCENA CITY — A 12-year-old girl drowned while swimming on Thursday, June 13, in Taal Lake in Cuenca town in Batangas province.
In a report on Friday, the Region 4A police said Ayessa Marie Hosmillo, along with his elder brother, 18, and sister, 14, went to the lake in Barangay San Felipe around 3 p.m. to take a dip.
The three strayed into the deeper part of the lake, causing the victim to drown, police said. INQ
