Deal inked for hospital renovation
A TOTAL of P1.6 million is allocated for the renovation of the Obstetric and Pediatric Wards of Lapu-Lapu City hospital.
Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza, Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (AFI) president Jon Ramon Aboitiz and Dr. Bolivar Minoza, chief of Lapu-Lapu City Hospital, signed an agreement for the project.
The Lapu-Lapu city government and AFI agreed to refurbish the Obstetric and Pediatric Wards and donate hospital beds to Lapu-Lapu City Hospital at a cost of of P1,673,375, of which P1,256,412.50 will be shouldered by AFI while the remaining P416,962.50 by the city government.
The city government will provide the construction materials and monitor the implementation of the project.
Mayor Radaza expressed her gratitude to the Aboitiz Foundation for partnering with them and is looking forward to more projects in the city.
