Parts of PH to experience rain due to ITCZ in Mindanao
MANILA, Philippines — Although it isn’t the rainy season yet, parts of the country will experience rain due to an intertropical convergence zone in Mindanao and a trough of a low pressure area in Northern and Central Luzon, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.
The western section of Northern and Central Luzon, extreme Northern Luzon, Palawan and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Warm weather continues, according to Pagasa’s extended weather outlook.
Temperature in Metro Manila could reach up to 34 degrees Celsius, while Tuguegarao City could experience a temperature of up to 37 degrees Celsius.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over Western Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate from southeast to south with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa also said.
