Pagasa: Chances of thunderstorms high across PH on Tuesday
MANILA, Philippines — High chances of thunderstorms and hot and humid temperatures are still expected to prevail throughout the country on Tuesday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Mataas ang mga tiyansa ng mga isolated thunderstorms lalo na sa hapon at sa gabi, otherwise patuloy pa ring mararanasan ang mainit na panahon sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon,” weather specialist Rhea Torres said in Pagasa’s latest forecast.
(There are high chances of isolated thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and at night, otherwise hot weather will continue to be experienced in large parts of Luzon)

Pagasa said the temperature range in key cities and various areas across the country for Tuesday will be:
- Metro Manila: 26 to 35 degrees Celsius
- Baguio City: 18 to 24 degrees Celsius
- Laoag City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Tuguegarao: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
- Legazpi City: 27 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Puerto Princesa City: 27 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Tagaytay: 23 to 32 degrees Celsius
- Kalayaan Islands: 27 to 34 degrees Celsius
- Iloilo City: 28 to 34 degrees Celsius
- Cebu: 28 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Tacloban City: 27 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Cagayan De Oro City: 27 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Zamboanga City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
- Davao City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
No gale warning has been raised for the country’s surrounding coasts or in-land seas.
