MANILA, Philippines — Motorists were advised to take alternative routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways is set to conduct reblocking and repairs on some roads in Metro Manila from Friday evening until next week.
In an advisory from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday, it said that the work will begin at 11 p.m. on May 10 until 5 a.m. on May 13 in the following areas:
Quezon City
- Regalado Avenue (Southbound), inner lane going to Commonwealth Avenue
- Susano Road Novaliches, between Heavenly Drive and Joyville Drive
- G. Araneta Avenue, Del Monte Avenue to Mauban Street, second lane from sidewalk
- Congressional Avenue Exit, near corner T.M. Kalaw Street to Brewing Point, Truck Lane
- Payatas Road, Samar Street to Leyte Street Inner Lane
- Commonwealth Avenue, Luzon Avenue to Central Avenue, third lane from sidewalk
- North Avenue (Northbound), before Senador Miriam P. Defensor-Santiago Avenue, first lane from sidewalk
- Sto. Domingo Avenue, Simon Street to Atok Street, first lane from sidewalk
- Tandang Sora Avenue, between Road 2 and Road 3, before and after Road 2, Between Road 1 and Road
- Fairview Avenue, Doña Carmen to Winston Street, first lane from sidewalk
Mandaluyong City
- Edsa (Southbound), after Shaw Boulevard to Boni Avenue, fronting Petron Gasoline Station/VRP
- Medical Center, fronting 103 and 105 Building, fronting Filinvest Building, corner Boni Avenue
Makati City
- Edsa (Southbound) J.P Rizal Avenue to Orense, between Cloverleaf and Bernardino Street

The affected roads will be fully passable by morning on May 13, the MMDA said.
