In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said the northeast monsoon may bring overcast skies with rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera.
The same weather system was forecast to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
Pagasa also said the shear line would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Quezon, and Aurora.
The Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region, on the other hand, were forecast to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
The ITCZ may also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.
As for Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, Pagasa said slightly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be anticipated due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa further said that as of 2 p.m., no low-pressure area was being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
