Habagat celebrates 25 years of adventure

To kick off its celebration of 25 years of adventure, Habagat Outdoor Equipment, Inc. will be hosting Choose Your Wild! – a series of outdoor events all over Cebu province.

On May 19-20, a flotilla of kayaks will venture into the islands of the Hilutungan Channel, while a group of bikers will tour the island of Olango where both parties will converge for a night of beach-side camping.

On May 24-25, a trekking delegation will tackle and camp overnight along the Mantalongon Loop, while climbing enthusiasts will scale the rock faces of Cantabaco.

Habagat Outdoor Equipment, Inc started manufacturing affordable yet high-quality outdoor equipment in Cebu City in 1987 but, more than that, Habagat has been hosting and supporting activities and events that promote ecological stewardship and the outdoor lifestyle most notably, Carrera Habagat which is known as the toughest adventure race in the Philippines.
