MANILA, Philippines — The sinkhole along Sales Road in Pasay City has been patched up by the Department of Public Works and Highways-South Manila District Engineering Office (DPWH-SMDEO),
“Maintenance team of the DPWH-SMDEO conducted asphalt overlay to the newly paved road earlier today,” the DPWH said in a statement.
Sales Road has been open to light vehicles since 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
“Motorists are advised that only light vehicles are permitted to use the newly restored area of Sales Road temporarily to ensure public safety, and convenience,” the DPWH added.
The sinkhole was detected on Sunday.
