Public schools to carry out distance learning on April 8—DepEd
MANILA, Philippines — Asynchronous classes or distance learning modes will be implemented among all public schools nationwide on Monday, April 8, the Department of Education (DepEd) has said.
In an advisory on Sunday, DepEd explained that the shift from in-person classes to distance learning is to “allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects and other requirements.”
“Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their stations,” Deped said.
