LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested on Saturday (April 6) seven alleged drug traffickers and seized more than P465,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations in Cavite.

In a report Sunday (April 7), the Region 4A police said local drug enforcers in Bacoor city nabbed at around 6:30 a.m. “Kuya,” “Ronnie” and “Angelica” after they sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay (village) Talaba 3.

The suspects yielded three plastic sachets and one knot-tied plastic containing shabu weighing 50 grams worth about P340,000.

Also seized was a mobile phone, which will be examined for records of drug transactions, and a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.

Police tagged the suspects as high-value individuals in the local drug trade on the police drug watch list.

“Kuya” is also an alleged member of a drug syndicate operating in the province.

In Dasmariñas city, police also apprehended “Norman, “Allan,” “Enrico” and “Ariel” in a drug sting in Barangay Sampaloc 4 at around 11:40 p.m.

The suspects, all identified drug pushers in the locality, were found in possession of five sachets containing shabu worth P125,800.

The police are conducting further investigation to determine the source of the illegal drugs.

All suspects were detained and are facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
