MANILA, Philippines—The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday released the list of thoroughfares that will be affected by the Department of Public Works and Highways’ (DPWH) 24-hour road repair.
According to MMDA acting chair Don Artes, the agency only allowed roadworks by the DPWH starting April 5 until either April 10 or 11, depending on whether April 10 will be declared a holiday.

In the same press briefing, the MMDA chief along with the DPWH also announced several road rehabilitation projects along Metro Manila, including the retrofitting of Edsa-Kamuning southbound flyover’s permanent bridges starting April 25.
The project, divided into four phases, would last about 11 months.
DPWH-National Capital Region project inspector Paul Chua noted, however, that the flyover would still be passable during the course of the retrofitting project.
