Highlands Endurance Run fires off today in Argao
RUNNING enthusiasts gather at the southern town of Argao today to take part in the Argao Highlands Endurance Run.
The high-altitude trail run will feature 23-kilometer, 11k, 7k and 3k distances and will start at the Cebu Technological University (CTU) Argao Campus.
The running event will be handled by veteran race director Joel Baring of the Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE) and is supported by the local government of Argao.
Around P100,000 worth of cash prizes will be at stake in the race, which will offer a different scenario for participants as it will be held in a mountainous area. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
