(A Hot and humid noon will occur, especially in Dagupan, where the temperature may reach 42 degrees Celsius.)

Estareja added that although Metro Manila has an actual temperature of 25 to 33 degrees Celsius for the day, he revealed that the area’s heat index may hit 38 to 40 degrees Celsius.

Moreover, a large portion of Cagayan Valley and Casiguran, Aurora, may also reach 40 degrees Celsius.

Likewise, the Davao Region may hit 41 to 42 degrees Celsius.

Pagasa said the heat index in the “danger” category ranges from 42 to 51 degrees Celsius, which may likely cause heat cramps and exhaustion, while heat stroke is probable with continued exposure to the sun.
