Fire hits residential area in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong

MANILA, Philippines—A fire broke out in a residential area in Block 6, Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City on Thursday.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire started at 8:48 a.m. and was raised to the first alarm at 8:54 a.m.

It quickly escalated to the second alarm four minutes later before being declared under control at 9:21 a.m.

The BFP said it was declared fire-out at 9:47 a.m.

Five people sustained minor injuries such as abrasion and laceration, but no fatality was reported.
