Navotas City issues Holy Week traffic advisory

MANILA, Philippines — Navotas City on Wednesday announced a temporary road closure for the observance of Holy Week.

In a Facebook post, the city government said that M. Naval Street and North Bay Boulevard (C4 up to Lapu-Lapu Avenue) would be closed to traffic from 6 p.m. on Maundy Thursday,March 28 to 7 p.m. on Good Friday, March 29.

“Dumaan po sa alternatibong ruta. Salamat po sa kooperasyon,” the post read.

Last Tuesday, Pasig City also issued a Holy Week traffic advisory due to religious rites that will be conducted at Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

The roads that will be affected in Pasig City are as follows:

  • Jabson St. (Bambang, Malinao)
  • Caruncho Ave. (In front of Pasig City Hall)
  • M.H. Del Pilar St. (San Nicolas, Sta. Cruz, Sto. Tomas)
  • Angeles St. (Sagad)
  • Dr. Pilapil St. (Sagad)
  • Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. (Kapasigan)
  • Mabini St.
  • Plaza Rizal Intersection
  • Burgos St.
  • Lopez Jaena St.
  • Dr. Garcia St.
