5 new directors named to CHEd
The Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) announced the appointment of five new directors on Tuesday.
They were Jimmy Catanes, Lora Yusi, Mary Sylvette Gunigundo, lawyer Marco Cicero Domingo and Rody Garcia.
CHEd chair Prospero de Vera III welcomed their addition to the agency, hailing their “impressive academic credentials and expertise that [would] help CHEd implement its mandates and priorities under the Marcos administration.”
Gunigundo served as an officer in charge for various CHEd offices, while Catanes used to be the director for research, planning, and development at the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.
