“At long last, the rightful claimant has come hither; To reunite the left to the right slipper,” the poem on Tuesday said.

The tale of the lost shoe was first reported by the Baguio City Public Order and Safety Division on Monday.

The lost-and-found post was formatted as a poem, which delighted many social media users who drew parallels to the fairy tale of Cinderella.
