Street sweeper shot dead in her home in Quezon
LUCENA CITY – A 47-year-old woman was shot dead on Saturday night (March 2) inside her house in Candelaria, Quezon, police said Sunday (March 3).
In a report, Quezon police identified the victim as Elizabeth Sabalboro, a street sweeper and resident of Barangay (village) Malabanban Norte.

The police said the victim was resting inside her house at around 10:20 p.m. when a male, wearing black jacket and black cap, barged in.

Without provocation, the man shot the victim on her head using a caliber 45 pistol.
The gunman fled after the shooting.
The victim died while being taken to a local hospital.
An investigation is ongoing to establish the motive behind the killing.
