MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has denied entry to two foreigners who were convicted of sexual offenses.
The BI said American Timothy James Foley, 64, and Papuan Arthur Stuart, 23, were intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on February 12 and 9, respectively.

In a statement, the agency said Foley, who came from Taipei, Taiwan, was a registered sex offender and convicted by a California court on child pornography charges while Stuart, who came from Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, was convicted of sexual misconduct against minors in Australia in 2022.

The BI said the two have been blacklisted and deported to their respective ports of origin.
