LUCENA CITY — Police nabbed four suspected big-time drug traffickers and seized more than P1 million worth of marijuana and shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations on Tuesday, Feb. 13, in Rizal province.
In a report Wednesday, the Region 4A police said anti-illegal drugs operatives in Rodriguez town nabbed “Kid,” “Junjun,” and “Mayo” at 11:05 p.m. after they sold marijuana and “kush,” high-grade marijuana leaves, to a poseur buyer in Barangay Burgos.
The operatives seized from the suspects six bricks of dried marijuana leaves and one plastic sachet containing dried illegal hemp, all weighing five kilos and 841 grams and worth P700,920. Authorities also found two plastic sachets containing “kush” worth P54,000.
In Antipolo City, police anti-narcotics agents held “Junjie” in another drug bust operation at 9:40 p.m. in Barangay Dela Paz.

The suspect yielded seven sachets of shabu weighing 50 grams and worth P340,000.
The police tagged all suspects as included on the drug watch list as high-value individuals in the local drug trade.
Police are conducting further investigation to determine the source of marijuana and shabu being peddled by the suspects.
All suspects are under police custody and will face a formal complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
