Special treat for LRT 2 passengers on Valentine’s Day

MANILA, Philippines — In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) will serenade and give roses to passengers of LRT-2 on Wednesday, February 14.

The LRTA said that Saxerendipity and the Philippine Coast Guard Band will serenade passengers at Antipolo Station on Wednesday, starting at 7 a.m.

“At para feel na feel niyo ang Valentine’s Day, magbibigay ang Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) ng mga bulaklak sa mga pasahero ng LRT-2,” it said in an advisory on Tuesday.

(And to really feel Valentine’s Day, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) will give flowers to the passengers of LRT-2.)

Passengers may also take Instagram-worthy photos at the LRT-2’s Love Snap photobooth.

They will also get to enjoy LRT-2’s Valentine’s jingle titled “Love Aboard a Train.”

“Abangan din ang mga entry sa #TRAINding Hugot Lines Valentines Contest na babasahin bukas ng mga train operator,” the LRTA added.
