Student found dead with stab wounds in Binangonan by grandfather

MANILA, Philippines — A student with stab wounds was found dead by his grandfather in Binangonan, Rizal, on Sunday afternoon, police said on Monday.

According to the Binangonan Municipal Police Station, the stabbing incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. at Purok 4, Aragones Street in Barangay Tatala.

The victim’s grandfather left home to get his tricycle on S. Dela Cuesta Street in Barangay Muzon in Taytay. When he got home, he found his granddaughter lifeless on the floor.

The grandfather immediately sought the help of the police, who are currently tracking the assailant who remained at large.

Meanwhile, he posted a picture of the suspect online, asking the public for help.

“That’s the picture of one of the insiders [who] killed my granddaughter to help me catch him and get justice for what he did to [her],” the post reads.
