The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its morning advisory that two weather systems will bring rain to most parts of the country throughout the day.
The state weather bureau noted that rain is expected over the eastern section of Southern Luzon caused by the shear line.
It will also bring overcast skies with rains over parts of Visayas, Pagasa added.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan, will bring slightly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain to the rest of Luzon.
