Boy dead in Laguna fire

LUCENA CITY – A 3-year-old boy died on Tuesday, Jan. 23, when a fire razed their house in Nagcarlan town, Laguna province.

The local disaster management office said the charred body of the unnamed fatality was found inside their burned house.

Investigators said the fire, which was of still unknown origin, gutted the house of the victim located in the town center around 4 p.m.

There were no details on the whereabouts of the victim’s family when the fire broke out.
