5 teenagers nabbed for stabbing farmer in Quezon
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested five teenaged boys after they ganged up and stabbed a farmer in Mauban, Quezon on Saturday, Jan. 13.
Quezon police reported that the suspects, aged 14 to 17, were having a drinking binge in Barangay (village) Polo at around 10 p.m.
The victim, identified as alias “Mark”, 26, who was already drunk, figured in an altercation with the suspects.
A fistfight ensued, with the farmer ending up being stabbed thrice in the back with a kitchen knife.
Villagers brought the victim to hospital while responding police officers arrested the five teenagers.
