Meanwhile, Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski also launched the Talakayan Sa Barangay series, a community participation and empowerment initiative that aims to address common issues faced by Pasig residents at the grassroots level.
The inaugural session of the Talakayan Sa Barangay series took place in Barangay San Miguel, marking the commencement of weekly consultations across the city’s 30 barangays.
The series will engage residents in discussions about pertinent matters affecting their daily lives, such as health, education, livelihood, security and governance.
Jaworski said that the series was a platform for the city officials to listen to the voices and concerns of the people and to collaborate with them in finding solutions.
He also commended the transformative initiatives and programs currently in place, attributing their success to the reforms and changes introduced by Sotto in 2019.
