At around 10:37 p.m., Coast Guard divers recovered the body of the construction worker.

PCG personnel then turned the body over to the MPD homicide division at around 11:30 pm.

In a separate report, the MPD said that the “cursory examination on the cadaver revealed no sign of any external injury.”

The MPD then brought the body to a nearby funeral service provider for autopsy and proper handling.
