LOOK: Traslacion crawls through Vergara, devotees still try to leap onto carriage
MANILA, Philippines — The Traslacion of the Black Nazarene has moved past Vergara Street in Quiapo, Manila, according to church officials.
Videos taken by netizens that were sent to INQUIRER.net showed members of the Hijos del Nazareno pulling the image of the Black Nazarene along Vergara Street, partly delayed by devotees trying to jump onto the new carriage despite Quiapo Church’s prohibition against climbing on the “andas.”

Quiapo Church officials said that as of 10 a.m., 1,008,000 devotees are joining the procession, while 60,500 are staying near the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene.
As of 11:45 a.m., the Traslacion is still moving along Arlegui Street, according to church officials and the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
