MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) on Wednesday said that it released P550 million for the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI).
“DBM Secretary Mina F. Pangandaman has approved the issuance of Special Allotment Release Orders (SAROs) in the total amount of P550 million to cover the funding requirements for the Out-Patient Department (OPD) Building of the National Kidney and Transplant Institute,” said the agency in a statement.
The DBM explained that the funds would be used for the construction of the OPD building, saying that the additional funding should help ensure that the NKTI amplifies its capabilities.
