MANILA, Philippines — A fire that reached the second alarm broke out in a residential area on Receiver Street in Barangay CAA, Las Piñas City, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported on New Year’s Eve.
In an advisory, BFP said the first alarm status was raised at 8:55 p.m. on Sunday. The second alarm was then raised nearly an hour later.
The fire was declared out at 10:49 p.m. No deaths or injuries were reported.

BFP has not determined the cause of the fire as of this posting.
