2023 is colorful, full of stories of triumphs, trials and hope, says VP Sara

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte on New Year’s Eve describes 2023 as a colorful year full of victories and challenges.
Duterte said she wanted to greet the New Year with a positive outlook.
“Ang taong 2023 ay isang makulay na taon para sa ating bansa at pati na rin sa buong mundo – maraming istorya ng tagumpay, pagsubok at pag-asa,” the Vice President said in a statement.
(Year 2023 is a colorful year for our country and also for the whole world – there are many stories of success, trials and hope.)
“Ngunit bilang isang Pilipino, tayo ay nananatiling malakas at matatag,” she told the people.

The Vice President expressed her wish of renewed hope for everyone in the coming year.
“Kasama ng aking buong pamilya, ako ay nagdarasal na ang bawat isa sa inyo ay magkakaroon ng mapayapa, ligtas at maligayang pagdiriwang ng bagong taon,” she said.
