Woman dies after vehicle crashes into QC bank

The Quezon City Police District says one of the seven victims who sustained injuries after a vehicle crashed into a bank along Quirino Highway, Quezon City has died. 

In a report on Friday, QCPD said Rosali de la Cruz died around midnight hours after the accident in Barangay Pasong Putik.

Number of persons injured by fireworks is at 96 

The number of individuals who sustained fireworks-related injuries has increased to 96, the Department of Health says.

Malacañang says there will be no holiday declaration for January 2.

Asked by reporters if Palace will have an additional holiday declaration, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil said there was none.
