MANILA, Philippines — Seven individuals, including three employees, were injured after a vehicle crashed into a bank along Quirino Highway in Quezon city.

In a report on Friday, Quezon City Police District identified the victims as Rosali de la Cruz, Liza Jalos Janap, Hermie Ocampo, Maria Cecilia Papio, security guard Edilberto Lazares, and bank employees Dorothy Ranesez and Jessica Susano.

Based on the CCTV footage, the 57-year-old driver of Toyota Fortuner, Edwin Balisong, was in front of the bank along Barangay Pasong Putik.

He was supposed to move backward when he bumped into the front side of another car.

As he moved forward, Balisong reportedly made a mistake and stepped on the accelerator pedal instead of the brake, causing the crash.

The video showed that Balisong’s car ran over the victims twice.

No deaths were resulted in the crash, but all of the victims sustained injuries.
