MANILA, Philippines — A 23-year-old man wanted for multiple offenses, along with his cohort, was arrested at a checkpoint along Governor Pascual’s corner of Nangka Road in Malabon City on Wednesday, according to police.
In a report, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) identified the two suspects as Allan Soriano and Cir Sandricks Vipinosa, 41.
Soriano and Vipinosa’s arrest stemmed after authorities flagged their motorcycle for not wearing helmets. Upon inspection, officers found guns in their belongings without any document allowing them to carry firearms.
Further investigation revealed that both suspects were involved in a 2 a.m. case of shooting that happened in Manila along Alley of Gate 56, Area H, Parola in Binondo.
Moreover, the NCRPO also bared that Soriano, who also used the name Allan Ace Cabanayan, has criminal records for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in 2019; he was involved in shooting incidents on April this year, July 7, September 5, September 25, and October 24 — in Manila and Caloocan City.

He also has two pending arrest warrants for murder issued by Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 52, and Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 174, while Vispinosa has a criminal record for also violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Confiscated from them were a caliber .40 pistol with a magazine loaded containing five live ammunition, a caliber .9mm with a magazine containing four live ammunition, and their motorcycle.
The suspects are now under police custody at Malabon City Police Station. They are facing complaints for violation of Republic Act 4136 (Land Transportation and Traffic Code), Republic Act 10054 (Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009), and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition).
