Biker dies after being ran over by bus in Manila — MPD
MANILA, Philippines — A 33-year old biker was run over by a bus in Sampaloc, Manila on Christmas Eve, police said on Monday.
The Manila Police District identified the rider as Russel Tapayan.

MPD said a bus bumped and later ran over Tapayan along the eastbound lane of Lerma Street near corner R. Papa Street at around 2:30 pm.
The bus driven by Are Jay De Castro, 30, “dragged for several meters the cyclist that resulted in his instantaneous death.”
De Castro is now under police custody and is set to be charged with homicide.
