MANILA, Philippines — Embracing the Christmas spirit, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) handed out grocery packs to motorists in the middle of Edsa on Tuesday.
MMDA acting chair Don Artes led the distribution, joined by other MMDA officials.
According to the MMDA in an advisory, Artes and MMDA enforcers handed out the grocery packs to select motorists along Edsa in front of the Baliwag terminal.
A total of 300 packs were distributed during the event.
Another round of distribution is set to be conducted along Commonwealth Ave on Tuesday as part of the program.
