MANILA, Philippines – The Quezon City government will give free rides on its Q City Bus to commuters who will be affected by a transport strike set for Dec. 14 and 15.

On Tuesday, the transport group Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng Tsuper at Opereytor Nationwide or Piston announced its transport strike to protest the Dec. 31 deadline for the consolidation of traditional jeepneys.
