Cessna plane goes missing in Isabela

A Cessna plane with two persons on board went missing shortly after taking off from Cauayan Domestic Airport here on Thursday morning, again raising concerns about the safety standards and protocols for similar general aviation aircraft.

It was the fourth Cessna plane to have been reported missing in Luzon this year. The previous three were eventually found wrecked and with no survivors, records from aviation authorities showed.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has placed under preventive suspension the license of the driver of a sports utility vehicle (SUV) involved in road rage in Taguig City.

The viral video on social media showed the driver stopping in the middle of C-5 road in Taguig to berate a truck driver.

PCG to secure flotilla in Christmas convoy in West PH Sea

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) will escort civilian ships participating in the so-called Christmas convoy in the West Philippine Sea, its chief revealed Friday.

Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan said the PCG is currently preparing for the December 10 event which will involve 40 civilian vessels so far.
